About Us - Our 19th Year!

We are currently only taking simple cupcake orders at this time since Pam is still recovering from breast cancer and reconstructive surgery.
Due to the rising cost of eggs, all posted prices on this website are subject to change. Please email us for a quote that includes cake size, flavor, and if any custom art work is needed and we will get back to you with a price.
The Baker's Touch, L.L.C. is a family owned home-based bakery established in 2006 and is located in a private residence in Douglassville, Pa. Pam Kiehl, owner, baker and decorator provides homemade custom cakes, cupcakes, cookies and dessert trays for all of your special occasions. All cakes require advance order. We have no ready to go cakes or cupcakes On hand. We DO NOT have a retail store or any baked goods available for walk up sales. We are open by appointment only AND have no set business hours! All pick-ups are in our garage counter located at 108 Aviemore Lane, Douglassville, Pa. 19518. You can contact us by phone or email to inquire about available dates or to make an appointment.
We are a home bakery with a Limited Food Establishment registration with the Department of Agriculture in Berks County (Reg. # 50022) and our kitchen is inspected annually. Our inspection reports are available upon request. We have permits to operate a No Impact Home-Based business out of our house with Amity Township since 2006. We are not authorized by the township to have any inventory in hand for retail sales. We have serviced Berks, Chester and Montgomery Counties for the last 19 years.
We specialize in custom cakes and cupcakes to match any party theme. We also make dessert trays for private parties and corporate events. We suggest you book your date as early as possible. Weekends book up fast so it's never to early to reserve your cake date. Send an email to pam@thebakerstouch.com to inquire about availability.
If you're calling from out of town and you would like a birthday cake or dessert tray delivered, we can do that too! Please allow at least one weeks notice for all deliveries . We suggest you place your order as early as possible to guarantee availability. Delivery charge is $1.00 per mile based on round trip miles. Minimum cake order for delivery is $20 and minimum delivery fee is $5.00. All of our cakes and desserts are made fresh per custom order so we have no cakes or desserts ready to go.
