Additional Information

All cakes are baked and custom designed and decorated to your specifications by Pam Kiehl who created The Baker’s Touch L.L.C in 2006.  The Baker’s Touch is fully registered as a limited food establishment with the Department of Agriculture in Berks County and our home kitchen is inspected annually.  We use the freshest ingredients and our buttercream icing consistently receives the highest compliments.  Whether it's a birthday, wedding, anniversary, shower, retirement or other special occasion, we can create a cake which is creative and delicious.

All Cakes must be ordered in advance.  We require at least one week notice for all custom cake orders.  Sometimes we can accommodate last minute orders with 1-3 days notice for a simple designs, basic birthday cakes or cupcakes.  Since we do not have a storefront, we do not have any cakes ready to go.   It's never too early to reserve your cake date.  Our calendar fills up fast and some times we can not accommodate your order if we are overbooked for the specific date you are looking for.  

Most cake orders can be taken over the phone or through email, however for tiered cakes and wedding cakes appointments are available.  Appointment's can be made by calling 610-207-3176  or sending and email to pam@thebakerstouch.com

All cakes are decorated with buttercream or whipped icing.  We do not cover cakes with fondant.  Fondant is only used for artwork and for accent pieces.

We are NOT a nut free bakery.  Please notify us when placing an order if you have any allergies.  We can accommodate peanut or tree nut allergies by separating and sanitizing our equipment. However, please note that any nut free requests are still baked in the same ovens, so there could be cross contamination.  We have never had any issues for anyone with allergies since we have been in business.  We do not make any gluten free cakes. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, AMEX and PayPal.  A 4% processing fee will be applied to all credit card orders whether payment is made on site or on the phone.

Limited local delivery available in Berks, Chester and Montgomery Counties.  Delivery charge is $1.00 per mile based on round trip miles.  Minimum Delivery order is $20.00 and minimum delivery charge is $5.  Order total must be $20 to be eligible for delivery.  Example - If total round trip delivery miles is 10 miles, then delivery charge is $10.  If the total delivery miles is 2 miles,  delivery charge is $5.00 (minimum).  

Due to Covid - 19 precautions, all pickups at our house are in our garage pick up counter.  Just park in our driveway and walk up to the counter with the Baker s Touch sign.  

Cancelation's-  If cake needs to be cancelled or the date changed, please provide at least one weeks notice.   Any deposit will be applied to new date.  No refunds will be issued.
